Welcome to the Under Par Golf Day at Selby Golf Club - a summer golf event built around competition, atmosphere, and unforgettable moments on the course.
Taking place on 23rd July, this exciting team event brings golfers together for a full day of great golf, standout challenges, fantastic prizes, and a lively social atmosphere from start to finish. Whether you’re entering to compete, entertain clients, or simply enjoy a brilliant day out with friends, the Under Par Golf Day promises an experience that goes beyond the traditional golf event.
Played in teams of four using a 2 out of 4 Stableford format, every hole creates opportunity, pressure, and excitement. Alongside the main competition, players will take on unique on course experiences including the high energy Music Hole Par 3, the TrackMan Long Drive Challenge, and the unforgettable 5 Nearest the Pins with a Twist competition.
After your round, relax and enjoy a one course meal while the scores are counted and prizes are awarded.

What’s Happening?
01 / Music Hole
Get ready for a completely different atmosphere on the 5th hole. Our Music Hole Par 3 brings the energy up with great tunes, big cheers, and plenty of pressure on the tee. It’s all about embracing the moment, enjoying the experience, and trying to hit the shot of the day while the music plays around you.
02 / Trackman Long Drive
Step up and let it fly in the TrackMan Long Drive Challenge. With live ball data and leaderboard pressure, every drive is tracked for distance, speed, and power. It’s the ultimate chance to test yourself, compete with the field, and claim serious bragging rights.
03 / Nearest The Pins With A Twist
This isn’t your standard nearest the pin challenge. Across five selected holes, your team must decide who takes each shot, adding strategy and pressure to every attempt. One chance each, five opportunities to get close, and plenty of bragging rights on the line.
